18th June 2018

We look forward to welcoming representatives from across our European client-base to our annual European User Conference, which this year will take place at Bloomsbury House in the heart of Bloomsbury, London.

Now in its 10th year, this annual gathering of Symplectic’s European user community will include a perfectly blended combination of presentations and demonstrations provided by those responsible for Symplectic’s products at our client’s sites, as well as interactive workshops run by the Symplectic team.

This event is open to colleagues from institutions currently using or implementing Elements, as well as institutional representatives wishing to learn more about our products and services.

It promises to be an excellent day out from the office!

Tuesday 19th June

Please join our Digital Science colleages at their Digital Science Showcase Event which is open to all. They have invited industry experts to share their views on the latest trends and challenges facing research organisations, and you’ll have the opportunity to see the latest developments from across the Digital Science portfolio (including mention of Symplectic’s integrations with other parts of Digital Science).

Why should you attend?

A valuable forum for learning, sharing and networking, the conference is a great way to see how other institutions are tackling the challenges of research management, with workshops and demonstrations from colleagues and our team.

  • Learn more about Elements

Our attendees will take home improved expertise, best practices that can be shared with colleagues, and greater enthusiasm for the system’s possibilities. Learn from others about implementations, data migrations, institutional adoption, user experience and researcher engagement.

  • Influence our roadmap

Members of our product and business development teams will be present throughout the conference, so attendees will be able to discuss and provide feedback on Symplectic Elements. As with all our development, this feedback will directly influence our future initiatives.

  • Make new connections

For all those involved in the use of Symplectic systems, this will be an invaluable meeting point, bringing together researchers, administrators, librarians, heads of department, and members of our team. Some of our colleagues from Digital Science will also be in attendance, providing further opportunities to meet innovators and influencers in the world of research technology.

AUS Conference

A great genuine way of engaging with Symplectic with an open and enquiring Symplectic staff. Well supported by relevant ‘associated’ providers and active practitioners.Australasia Conference, 2016
“I really appreciated the Symplectic team’s openness and receptiveness to feedback. The ability to share experiences as users and engage in dialogue was the most helpful part of the meeting.”
US Conference, 2016
This was my first Symplectic conference so I didn’t really know what to expect but I have been absolutely blown away by the whole experience! Brilliant presentations, wonderful workshops, a relaxed and supportive community feel like no other conference I have been to and most importantly a feeling that Symplectic (and attendees) are genuinely interested in seeking, receiving, listening to and providing feedback, suggestions, concerns, solutions… and much more! Thank you!UK Conference, 2016
